the area is also used throughout the day and early evening for sunbathing and
drinks.
Overlooking the pool is
the gymnasium room, containing exercise bike, multi-gym, free weights, shower
and toilet.
At the top of the orchard is the games room
with table tennis, darts and pool table. Also available is croquet, and a range
of board games and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to exploring the local
countryside on foot or touring by car, opportunities for activity abound with
fishing on the nearby Blagdon, Berrow and Chew Valley Lakes, horse riding at
several local stables and clay pigeon shoots at various sites close by.
Pubs abound locally, serving good food and
beer. Among the best are the Queen Adelaide in Blagdon and the Carpenters Arms
in Stanton Wick.
